A Southland Powerball player has won $6.3 million with Powerball First Division in tonight’s (14 Dec) live Lotto draw.

The $6.3 million prize is made up of $6 million from Powerball First Division and $333,333 from Lotto First Division.

The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from Southland.

They are the nineteenth Powerball multi-millionaire of 2022.

Last week a Whakatāne couple won $5.5 million in Powerball.

A Strike player from Rotorua won $1 million in tonight’s Strike Must Be Won draw, two other Lotto players (Nelson and Lincoln) each won $333,333 with Lotto First Division.
