Police have confirmed that the two campers, missing in the Rowallan Forest since Saturday (2 April) have been found.
They were discovered today after walking out of the bush onto Lillburn Valley Road.
Both have now been flown to Southland Hospital to be accessed as a precaution.
The Invercargill father and son sparked a full scale search and rescue operation after failing to return from an overnight camp out on Friday (1 April).
There was a concern the pair were ill-equipped for a night out in the bush.
Police search and rescue, LandSAR teams including two LandSAR search dogs and amateur radio emergency communications (AREC) personnel were involved in the search, along with a helicopter with thermol imaging and night vision equipment.
