Dunedin's John McGlashan College has announced it is setting up a campus in Fiordland.
The board of trustees of the all boys' college announced on Wednesday (15 Jun) that they had purchased Fiordland National Park Lodge.
The 3 hectare Te Anau Downs property, that is situated within Fiordland National Park, lists 20 motel units, 16 lodge rooms and 10 ensuited backpacker rooms. It also includes a restaurant.
This will be the college's second campus and will provide students with endless opportunities for adventure-based learning, the college said.
The college expects to open the new facility to students by April 2023.
