Four people were injured in house fire in Invercargill on Friday morning (3 Oct).

Fire and Emergency said two fire trucks were called to a blaze in the bedroom of a property in Waikiwi at about 5.45am.

St John said four people with minor and moderate injuries were treated at the scene.

The cause of the fire was being investigated.
