Emergency services were called to an industrial fire in a 30 x 15 metre building on Branxholme Makarewa Road at 10.26am this morning (16 Mar).

FENZ report the building was well ablaze when they arrived.

Crews from Invercargill, Wallacetown and Winton attended and along with tanker assistance from outside brigades, managed to extinguish it by 11.15am.

A fire investigator is now on site to determine the cause, a FENZ spokesperson said.
