Hedgehope School is a fabulously modern and truly up to date, future focused environment bursting with resources and wonder.

Our student whanau are curious, dazzled and hugely appreciative of the new spaces and resources that the BOT and PTA have tirelessly supported.

The teaching team have eagerly jumped into student efficacy and agency giving powerful voices to students to lead their own interests for learning.

This year our overarching theme is Curiosity, students have their own passions, big questions and timelines.

They are investigating such things as kinetic energy, vision, ballistic coefficients, engines, why and how some dogs swim, grammar rays, water pollution and we also have mini blogging chefs.

Hedgehope’s Forest School has also launched in the local bush and students have been out and about being adventures in Southland and talking with experts to help their inquiries.  

We have 2 classes of 24 students currently that all love to learn!  

We all REACH for Greatness in everything we do!
