Peacefully at Resthaven, Gore, on Wednesday 19th November 2025.

Aged 93 years.

Dearly loved husband of the late Ada.

Much loved Father and father in-law of Martin and Rona (Quarry Hills), Kirsty and John Cook (Christchurch), Gill and Graeme Harris (Timaru), Andrew Cowie and Maree Bailey (Perth).

Loved Grandad of Neil, and Hazel Cowie, Stella Cook, and Sara Harris.

A service for Hugh will be held at J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets Invercargill on Wednesday 26th November at 11:30am, followed by a burial at Waikawa Cemetery arriving approximately 3:30pm.
