The answer is, they are the same person – Bohdi Trevor-Smith. Bohdi’s exceptionally visible leadership style is an inspiration for our younger students.

.
Whether he’s drumming for the school band, supporting our sports teams or teaching our students how to throw a discus and shot put, he’ll do it with real passion, care and motivation.
Bohdi’s biggest success so far was winning the NZ under 18 discus title at the NZ Athletics Champs this year where he also placed in the shot put.
He then repeated this at the South Island Secondary Schools Champs.

Bohdi has a desire to help others and contribute to his community.
There is no better example than the moments where Bohdi can be seen sprinting from the classroom so he can be in the firetruck and attend whatever emergency that is happening in our community, making him an effective and valued volunteer firefighter.
.
Bohdi effortlessly weaves our school values – Respect, Integrity, Curiosity and Effort – into everything he does, making him an inspiring and highly respected member of the Fiordland College community
