Moffet Cup is an annual competition between Southern Zone schools in both netball and rugby. The actual Moffett Cup is the winner of the Year 5 & 6 rugby.
Tokanui School kindly supported by Falls Hotel (MLT)
.
This competition started in 1948 when Mrs Moffett donated a trophy for S3-4 (Year 5 & 6 in todays terms) rugby.

The Moffett family had a sawmilling business near Tokanui. Originally local schools travelled to Fortrose School for the competition. And......this year we won the prestigious Cup with our awesome team.

We took a bus and got there to watch other schools participate in the Mīharo celebration. We had Mr Steven Hayes accompany us on the guitar. Thank you to all the helpers on the day and to Whaea Trish for teaching us our waitatas.
