A pop-up vaccination clinic will open in Lumsden's Memorial Hall this Friday, 17 September.

WellSouth primary health network's team expect to deliver up to 180 vaccines and a repeat clinic in November will deliver second doses of the vaccine, helping ensure as many people as possible are fully vaccinated

Bookings are required and appointments can be made online through bookmyvaccine.co.nz or by calling 0800 28 29 26.

WellSouth CEO Andrew Swanson Dobbs says many in the community have travelled to other clinics – Te Anau, Gore, Winton, Invercargill - but this is to provide an option for those unable to travel.

"We are very happy to support residents and general practices in this area to have easier access to the Covid vaccine and help to keep all our communities as safe as possible," he says.
