Te Anau's inaugural Ukulele Festival (TUF) is primed to set the Fiordland tourist town alight with music this weekend.
TUF founder and convener Jackie Knowles said with 54 guest artists, from throughout Australia and New Zealand, and over 1000 tickets already sold, the 3-day festival was going to be epic.
Knowles said they had already sold out their first Sunday lake cruise and strum, so had scheduled a second one.

However she said TUF was multifaceted, so there was something for everyone.
Visitors to the town this weekend may also get to listen in on one of the numerous cafe strums, which will take place at local cafe's between 11.15am-1.45pm on Saturday and Sunday, she said.
"I want to say that this [festival] couldn't have happened without this amazing community and everyone getting behind my dream and making it come alive," Knowles said.
