Invercargill Police have arrested two youths following an aggravated robbery at a North Road store early yesterday morning (24 Mar).

The incident occurred around 3:30am, when four individuals entered the store and stole cigarettes and tobacco before fleeing in a vehicle.

After extensive investigations, police executed search warrants at two properties in Invercargill today (25 Mar), leading to the arrests.

The two youths are set to appear in Invercargill Youth Court tomorrow on charges of aggravated robbery.

Police continue to investigate, with further arrests expected.
