Emergency services are responding to a crash between two trucks on the Lumsden Dipton Highway.

The crash near the intersection with Josephville-Glenure Road was reported to police around 9.05am

A police spokesman said initial indications are that one person has sustained serious injuries and the Serious Crash Unit is attending the scene.

A detour on the road was in place for most of the afternoon, with the road re-opening to normal at around 4.30pm.
