UPDATE 3.29pm 12 Jul 2023: The road is now clear

A truck has rolled at Greenhills, north of Greenpoint Road, on the Bluff Highway, closing SH1 to all traffic.

The accident involved a single vehicle and no injuries have been reported.

Highway South advise that due to the location there is no available detour.

NZTA advice that due to strong winds, extra care is required when travelling on the Invercargill to Bluff Highway, especially for high-sided vehicles and motorcycles.
