A third young person has now been arrested after an aggravated robbery in Invercargill on Monday night (24 Mar).

This follows the arrest of two youths on Tuesday (25 Mar) in relation to the same incident.

At around 3.30am on Monday 24 March, Police were called to a North Road store after four people entering a store and helped themselves to cigarettes and tobacco before fleeing in a vehicle.

Police said today's arrest was without incident and the young person later appeared in the Invercargill Youth Court.

Police continue to investigate the aggravated burglary and said further arrests are likely.
