An update evening from the Pomona Island Charitable Trust will be held in Te Anau next Wednesday.
The well-loved community conservation initiative has been undertaking a lot of work over the last year on Pomona and Rona Islands in Lake Manapouri.
The evening session, at Fiordland National Park Visitor Centre, Lakefront Drive, Te Anau, will detail the work on mouse incursion response, gecko monitoring, recording Haast tokoeka calls, trap trigger detection system, and what the cameras on the islands tell us.
It will also feature a screening of 'This is How it Ends' Episode 7: The Island.
