Supply Chain Assistant

Join our Supply team in this key role that will see you contributing to transactional support and logistics across multiple locations and business units within the RealNZ Group.

As the Supply Chain Assistant, you will work closely with the Supply team to optimise spending, reduce waste, and add value to the supply chain. You are responsible to contributing to the smooth operation of the Warehouse.

In the quieter winter months you will also support our Asset Management team as a Maintenance Assistant undertaking engineering supply and general duties e.g. disposals, transporting equipment and improving engineering stock processes.

This is an awesome opportunity to develop your knowledge in maintenance and supply, and being safety conscious is a must!

As part of this role you will:

• Manage the receipt of goods
• Ensure that goods are stored safely and efficiently
• Deliver goods around the business
• Control stock effectively using the systems in place
• Prepare deliveries & ensure branches receive these on time
• Undertake maintenance duties effectively and enthusiastically

Skills & Experience

• As our Supply Chain Assistant is an important part of our Group, you will have 1-3 years' experience in warehousing or a similar role.
• Experience across several key functions, such as manual handling, vehicle operations, warehousing and inventory control would be beneficial.
• You'll exhibit the qualities of integrity, customer support and self-management as well as being results focussed.
• Being a clear communicator and team player is essential.
• Practical aptitude is a must.
• Ideally you will hold Drivers and Forklift licenses and Dangerous Good certification. Heavy vehicle certification would also be an advantage.
