The popular music event ‘Summer Sounds Bluff’ returns this summer, with a great line up ready to perform at the Gunpit in Bluff.

Head over on Sunday January 31, to watch some sweet sounds in the sun with the family.

Three great acts are scheduled to perform from 2pm on the day, with Triple Shot, Concrete Angels, featuring the boys from Midnight Cruise and Renee from Ramblin’ Rosie’s, and Bluff performer - Southland 2020 Musician of the Year, Darcy Kerr all on this year’s bill.

Bluff Publicity/Promotions Officer Lindsay Beer said Carl Mills will MC the concert, which will be set in the idyllic spot that has proven to be a fantastic concert venue since it was first used for the Summer Sounds concert several years ago.

Access to the Gunpit can be gained from either Gunpit Road or Stirling Point.

Summer Sounds Bluff is a Bluff Promotions event with the support of the Creative Communities scheme, Bluff Engineering & Welding, i Hire Invercargill and the Department Of Conservation.

There is no admission fee to the event but a koha is welcomed by organisers to help defray expenses associated with the event.
