Photo: Southland AppA Southland man has had seven charges laid against him under the Resource Management Act following an odour complaint that subsequently resulted in an Environment Southland investigation.
The charges relate to operations between August 1 and 26 September at Frazer Road, Tuturau.
Six of the charges relate to discharges of blood, leachate and or contaminates to land in circumstances where they could enter water, while the seventh charge relates to failure to comply with abatement notices issued in August and September.
The man is scheduled to appear in the Invercargill District Court on Wednesday 11th November.
