SH94 into Milford Sound is closed to all inbound traffic due to rapidly worsening weather conditions.

Outbound convoys will run eastbound only until 5:00 PM today.

New Zealand Transport Agency Waka Kotahi advise the road will remain shut overnight between the Hollyford Road junction and Donne River bridge.

Forecasts of heavier snow from midday on Sunday will likely cause further closures.
