SESSION FACILITATOR –The Key Playcentre, Southland

Te Whānau Tupu Ngātahi o Aotearoa - Playcentre Aotearoa is a well-known and loved Early Childhood organisation with over 70 years of supporting parents to take the lead in their children’s learning through play.

Playcentre operates 450 Playcentres throughout the country and has just over 1000 staff members who are employed in and over a number of roles.

Permanent Part-time Position – up to 8 hours per week contact time (contact and non-contact time)

– 2 sessions per week (Monday 9.30 - 12.30 and Thursday 9:30 - 1)

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and caring person to fulfil the Qualified Facilitators role at The Key Playcentre (Te Anau). 

The successful applicant will be joining a supportive, close-knit team, dedicated to providing rich learning experiences to our tamariki and a supportive network for our whanau.

The successful applicant will have: 

•       a passion for working with children aged 0 - 6 years alongside parents and caregivers;

•       knowledge and understanding of the value of Playcentre and its philosophy; 

•       great interpersonal and communication skills; 

•       completed course work at Playcentre to Course 4 or ECE qualified; 

•       Start date Term 2, 2021

Applicants will need NZ Residency or a valid NZ work visa. The successful applicant must be able to start at the beginning/during Term 2, 2021 (subject to safety checking requirements).
