LANE CLOSURES

SH1 Tay St

Asphalt resurfacing continues on SH1 Tay St in inner city Invercargill on Sunday evening from 6pm to 6am, and is expected to be completed by Monday morning (subject to weather and other factors).

Eastbound lanes between Troopers roundabout and Deveron St will be closed during this time.

Light vehicles follow posted detour signs.

Road will be open during the day.

The work will then pause until after the Burt Munro event has ended.

Highways South work with temporary traffic lights or stop/go and temporary speed limits this week:

• • SH1 Tay St Invercargill at Lindisfarne Street for pavement repairs
  • SH1 Tay St Invercargill between Troopers roundabout and Deveron St – eastbound lane closure; Sunday evening/Monday morning for resurfacing work (see above for details)
  • SH94 Te Anau-Mossburn highway west of Mossburn for pavement repairs
  • SH6 Winton-Lorneville highway near Makarewa for pavement repairs
  • SH6 Winton-Lorneville highway at Branxholme-Makarewa Road for pavement repairs

  • SH94 Mossburn-Lumsden highway near Edwards Road for pavement repairs
  • SH94 Te Anau-Mossburn highway at The Key for pavement repairs
  • SH96 Glencoe highway at Glencoe for drainage work
  • SH96 Wreys Bush-Nightcaps highway at Wreys Bush for drainage work
  • SH97 Mossburn-Five Rivers road near Acton Downs Road for resurfacing
  • SH97 Mossburn-Five Rivers road near Acton Downs Road for resurfacing
  • SH97 Mossburn-Five Rivers road near Acton Downs Road for resurfacing
  • SH97 Mossburn-Five Rivers highway near Acton for pavement repairs
  • SH98 Lorne-Dacre Road near Taylor Road for pavement repairs
