Scheduled road resurfacing will be taking place around Southland in the next few weeks.

Please note the following locations:

Intersection of SH1 Pioneer Highway and SH96 Glencoe Highway, Mataura.  

This work is programmed for two days early next week. When the crew are onsite, there will be no access into/out of SH96 Glencoe Highway, please use Glendhu Road/Paterson Road/Waimumu Road – open to all vehicles.

SH99 Riverton-Wallacetown Highway at the intersection of Gropers Bush-Thornbury Road.  

This work is programmed to take two days towards the end of next week. When the crew are onsite, there will be no access into/out of Gropers Bush-Thornbury Road, please use Thornbury-Waimatuku Road – open to all vehicles.

SH99 Riverton-Wallacetown Highway at the intersection of Argyle-Otahuti Road.  

This work is programmed to take two days towards the end of next week. When the crew are onsite, there will be no access into/out of Argyle-Otahuti Road, please use Oporo Flat Road/Waianawa-Oporo Road – open to all vehicles.

SH96 Wreys Bush-Nightcaps highway intersection with Wreys Bush-Mossburn Road.  

This work is programmed to take two nights at the start of the week beginning 21st January. When the crew are onsite, there will be no access into/out of Wreys Bush-Mossburn road, please use Sinclair Road/Nightcaps-Opio Road – open to all vehicles.
