Revitalise Festival organiser Tim Gow is excited how much the Revitalize festival at Blackmount has grown this year.
The farm-based festival at Mangapiri Downs Organic Stud Farm opens at 3pm today. Now in its second year, Gow says it has developed a life of its own.
“After Covid, we decided a relaxed happy Revitalize Family festival was needed,” he said.

There will be six musicians, five comedians and comedy workshops.
The offerings have also grown to include EV cars, ebikes, emotorbikes and Electric UTVs.
Music fans can enjoy workshops on guitar with Paul Ubana Jones and song writing with Craig Smith (Wonky Donkey).
Healers from various disciplines, including yoga, reiki, acupuncture, psychics, brain-gym and Kundalini healing, will also be at the festival.
Gow will lead farm walks on organics and hair sheep.
The festival goes for three days, starting tonight with an open mic night.
Musicians play from 12 noon to 9.30 pm on Saturday.

Sunday is the Healers Day, and includes a closing Cacao ceremony.
Gow said there would be plenty of tickets available at gate each day and camping is available.
“The all weather event is lucky having a large cover. [There are] yards and an unused shearing shed . . . so rain or shine it’s on,” he said.
Camping will be available onsite at $10/day/pp (children free).
No dogs are allowed as the festival is held on a working farm.
