Meridian will be releasing a recreational flow of 35 cumecs from Manapōuri Lake Control Structure to the lower Waiau River commencing at 11.59pm Saturday 25 November and ending 12.01am Monday 27 November.

Recreational releases occur every fourth Sunday for 24 hours during October through to April as part of our consent and compliance requirements. 

We encourage all river users to take extra care during this time.
