Prime Minister Christopher Luxon will visit Southland this week (4-5 Dec) for a series of meetings with business leaders, farmers and National Party supporters.
On Wednesday Luxon will conclude his 'Restoring Farmer Confidence Tour' with a lunchtime farmers' meeting and BBQ at Waimumu.
This will be followed the next day by a 7.30am breakfast meeting with the Southland Business Chamber.
Luxon's Southland visit will conclude with a special morning tea - open to the public - hosted by Invercargill MP Penny Simmonds at Ascot Park Hotel.
Simmonds said it would be great to have the Prime Minister in the city to enjoy some Southern hospitality.
“Local people [will] have a chance to meet the leader and hear his vision for Southland," she said.
Tickets to the morning tea at Ascot Park are $25 and available by emailing [email protected]
