Please be advised that Bluff will experience a power outage today between 4pm and 7pm due to a broken power pole near Greenhills.

The PowerNet team are out on-site now, installing a replacement pole nearby.

The outage will take place while their team transfer the power lines from the broken pole to the new pole.

The work is being undertaken approximately 15 metres away from State Highway 1, and they do not anticipate that any road closures will be required, however there may be some traffic management in place.

While it remains unclear what has caused the damage to the pole, high winds and precarious weather conditions make these urgent repairs challenging for the team.

PowerNet appreciates your patience and care while they work to undertake these urgent repairs.

The team are confident power will be restored no later than 7pm, however they will provide updates on our website and Facebook page if this changes.
