Police seek witnesses to Riverton incident

Southland police are appealing for information after an incident in Riverton last weekend.


Around 2am on Saturday 6 April, Police say a man was walking west along Palmerston Street when he was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road outside Hammer Hardware.


The man suffered serious injuries as a result and remains in Dunedin Hospital.


Police are appealing for information from anyone who was in the area at the time.


Police ask that anyone with information contact Riverton Police on 03 2347070.
