Police are appealing for sightings of 27-year-old Samantha Beyers, known as Sam, who is missing from Christchurch.

In a Facebook post, Police say Beyers was reported missing on Wednesday and has connections to Invercargill.

Police and her family are concerned for her welfare.

She is described as being 173cm tall and of a slim-medium build.
