Martin Peter Suttie, 37, of Dunedin has been named by police as the fisherman they are searching for in Lake Wakatipu, near Glenorchy.
The search and rescue operation to look for Mr Suttie continued today with the Police National Dive Squad searching the lake area throughout the day.
The police diver squad arrived in Glenorchy on Monday night. More dive specialists from the HMNZS Matataua are expected to arrive to help with the search tomorrow. (Thursday July 15)
Mr Suttie had been fishing near the shore and was reported missing by a friend around 3.20pm on Sunday (July 12).
