There was a good turnout for the inaugural Fiordland parkrun this morning.
Participants came from as far afield as Queenstown, Invercargill, Christchurch, Lower Hutt, Hamilton and even one from Whangarei.
The parkrun is not a race but open to runners, joggers, walkers, dog walkers, volunteers and spectators. The course totals 5km starting at the Lake Te Anau control gates, to the bird park and back.
Get the weekend off on the right foot. Parkrun participants ready to hit the trail this morning.
