Temporary road closure – Town Centre and The Lane, Te Anau

In accordance with the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, notice is given that Council will close Town Centre from Milford Crescent to The Lane and The Lane from Town Centre to Wong Way to normal traffic between the hours of 8am and 6pm on Saturday 2 April 2022.

The purpose of the closure is to enable the Te Anau long lunch to take place.

A detour will not be available but the road will be reopened as soon as safely possible in the event of an emergency.

It will be an offence for vehicles to use the road during the period of closure without the prior written approval of the Group Manager Infrastructure & Environmental Services.
