We’ve got an exciting term ahead with lots happening both in and out of the classrooms. Olden Time happens (instead of ‘Golden Time’) on Friday afternoons, and this term will be based around our topic of Planet Earth and Space ‘Infinity and Beyond’ is proving to be a popular time for all children!

Thursday 21st August was our time on stage at Polyfest! Again we were able to join Ko Taku Reo on stage for their last song and this was definitely a highlight for us, there’s a lot that we do on a Thursday together during the year so being able to share this experience is extra special to us! There is a lot of work behind the scenes from the classroom teachers, support staff and Whaea Nish in getting us ready for Polyfest.
The pride our students had on stage for our school showed and their smiles showed just how much they love performing together. Eva and Lara our kaeas for Kapa Haka have shown outstanding leadership and commitment this year in their roles.

The time and effort they have given to our Junior classes, whole school practices and our performances at the school Jubilee celebrations, and for the Senior Citizens has been appreciated by both the students and staff.
Thank you to everyone that headed along to the stadium to watch our Polyfest performance. If you head to our school website there is a tab ‘Polyfest 2025’ where you’ll see all our photos and a wee behind the scenes video of the day.
