Police can now release the name of the woman who died following a fatal crash just after midnight on SH6 near Lochiel, on Saturday 25 February.

She was Dorothy Violet Roberts, 75, of Winton.

Police arrested a 40-year-old man has been arrested on two drunk driving related charges, and was due to appear in the Invercargill District Court today, 21st March.

Two other people were taken to hospital in a serious condition.
