A 31-year-old man has been charged with murder in relation to the death of a woman in Invercargill.

Police yesterday said they were looking for 31-year-old Samuel Samson in relation to the death of a 22-year-old woman who was found dead at the Bavarian Motel on Sunday morning.

Earlier today police said the man had been located and was assisting them with their enquiries.

The man is set to appear in the Invercargill District Court this afternoon.
