Southland scored a string of major wins in last night's (14 Jun) Lotto draw with eleven of the twenty-eight second division winners buying their tickets in Southland.

Each won $13,779.

But one of the Southland winners had their winnings boosted to $27,424 after also winning - along with an Auckland ticket holder - the Powerball Second Division.

Ten of the Southland winners used MyLotto, while the other one bought their ticket from Whitcoulls Invercargill.
