"Name release - deceased tramper, Milford Sound"

Police can now name the man who was located deceased after being reported missing on 28 March, while tramping in Milford Sound.

He was Hamish Steven Attenborough, 21, of Milford Sound.

Police extend their condolences to his family and friends.

Police have completed enquiries on behalf of the coroner, who will release their findings in due course.
