Milford Road OPEN

MODERATE Avalanche Hazard

Heavy rain is currently falling in the Homer tunnel area and is forecast to turn to snow overnight and throughout Tuesday.

The storm has also increased the avalanche hazard.

The road is now closed at the Hollyford Rd & Donne river gates.

While we will be looking for conditions for a reopening during Tuesday afternoon - there is a very high likelihood that the closure could extend all day given the very unsettled weather expected.
