CLOSING from East Gate (Hollyford) to Donne River (Westgate) 5pm

Comments:

The road is open. Overnight closure at 5pm tonight for snow. Reopening Wednesday morning after snow clearing has been undertaken.

Another expected closure at 5pm Wednesday night and an all-day closure on Thursday is highly likely with another large abominable weather system forecast which will increase the avalanche hazard.

The rest of the week into the weekend is also looking unstable.

Thursday: Very heavy rain, turning to showers later with snow about the tunnel.
