Mechanic – Fiordland Marine, Te Anau

Fiordland Marine has a vacancy for a mechanic to join the team. This is a full time role located in Te Anau.

Fiordland Marine is a small owner operator business selling and servicing marine engines and outdoor power equipment including major brands Stihl, Honda and Mercury.

We take pride in our work and in the service provided to our customers.

Main duties will include:

• Service & repairs of outboards and stern drives
• Service & repairs of chainsaws, lawnmowers and other small engines
• Trailer repairs & maintenance
• Engine and boat fit-ups including electronics.
• Refurbishing of outboards and stern drives
• Assembly of new products
• Assisting in showroom sales

If you are someone passionate about marine or small engines and have the following attributes we would like to hear from you:

• Experience in either marine, automotive or small engines.
• Previous experience in sales would be an advantage.
• Be self motivated, honest, and reliable
• Ability to work in a small team and independently
• Show initiative
• Have a great attitude
• Willingness to learn and complete further training.
