Police have made an arrest following a homicide investigation into the death of an Invercargill baby in January.
A 24-year-old man has been charged with the murder and is due to appear in the Nelson District Court this afternoon (17th March).
Five-month-old Hope Elizabeth McFall-Schultz was taken from an Elizabeth Street address, Invercargill, to Southland Hospital with critical injuries on Saturday 22nd January.
She was subsequently transferred to Starship Hospital, but died on 26th January.
