Police have arrested a 27-year-old man following a burglary around midnight on Saturday 25 March, where a vehicle was used to gain entry.  

Southland Area Investigation Manager, Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Baird said that following a search warrant being executed on Sunday night, a man was located and arrested and the motor vehicle used in relation to the burglary was seized.

The man appeared in Invercargill District Court today (27 Mar) on two charges of burglary, as well as unlawfully taking a motor vehicle, driving while disqualified, and other driving-related charges.

He has been remanded in custody until his next appearance on 13 April.
