A Lumsden Four Square Lotto player is $71,429 richer after winning a share of first division in last night's (8 Jun) bumper $50 million Powerball draw.

They were the only Southland player to win a major prize last night and shared their first division win with fourteen others.

Seven players shared in the Powerball win, each taking home 7.18 million. All were from the North Island.

Forty-one Lotto players won $24,392 with their Lotto Second Division win.
