Lobster Processing - Factory Hand
We are looking for a keen and reliable person to work with the team at our Te Anau facility in a full time position.
Main duties will include:
- Loading and unloading of lobster to/from FLC's other facilities and helicopters.
- Receive and sort live rock lobster in accordance with FLC's quality and handling procedures and within the regulations as set out by NZ food safety and MPI.
- Loading/unloading packaging/ice/bait and any other incoming or outgoing goods.
- Maintain the factory to a satisfactory standard of cleanliness set by FLC.
- Checking water quality parameters and reporting results to the manager.
- Comply with all health and safety requirements and policies as set out by the company.
- Other tasks and responsibilities may be delegated as required.
- Forklift license would be useful but not essential as training/license can be organised.
- Full training will be made available to meet all tasks and responsibilities. Opportunities will be made available within the company (NZ wide) on a case by case basis.

This is a permanent full time role based at our Te Anau Factory. Applicants must have their Ministry of Health proof of full vaccination status, and must have the right to work in New Zealand.
