Junior Water Industry Technician 

 WaterForce is New Zealand’s leading Irrigation and Pumping company with branches throughout the country.

WaterForce Southland is looking for a team member to be based in the Gore Branch, keen to learn all aspects of the Service/Installation side of the Irrigation 

and Pumping Industry whilst gaining an Irrigation New Zealand Certificate. 

 Key responsibilities: 

 Learning the irrigation and pumping industry by working alongside experienced 

people in the industry 

 Completing an Irrigation NZ Irrigation Technician Certificate 

 Field installation of irrigation and pumping systems 

 Irrigation and pump system service & maintenance work 

 Work within WaterForce’s Health & Safety environment 

 Applicant credentials: 

 The most important one - a can do attitude with a willingness to learn 

 Practical skills in either engineering, mechanics or electrical 

 NZ Drivers Licence 

 Be able to commit to overtime as required 

 Be able to commit to the on call roster once suitably trained 

 Familiar with the Southland/Otago regions
