Red Shed Guide - Oban, Stewart Island

The Role

How often do you get the chance to showcase the beautiful native fauna and flora of an island, introducing and educating our visitors on the wildlife that inhabit the island and ensuring they have an experience not only will they want to return to, but share with their family and friends. 

Working with an amazing team in an amazing location.

No day will be the same, not only will you be providing a unique experience as their host and nature guide, we'll upskill you to ensure you can drive them around the island too.

Work 7 days on, 7 days off -  the dream summer roster pattern.

7 days on Stewart Island with accommodation provided and you are free to travel wherever you would like on your 7 days off - what better way to spend the summer adventuring!

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone with the following attributes and skills:

·       A proactive communicator;

·       Someone who can anticipate customers' needs and optimise sales opportunities;

·       Ability to manage time effectively and multi-task;

·       Most importantly - a lively team player who enjoys doing what's required to ensure a remarkable customer experience;

·       A full, clean NZ Driver’s Licence is essential;

·       Passenger endorsement and class 2 licence is preferable.
