Exciting things are happening at Connetics. We’ve just been awarded the first new Field Services Agreement with Aurora Energy to carry out major work on the network in the Central Otago and Queenstown Lakes Districts. That means we need experienced technical people, and we need them now.

Based in Central Otago with the main office in Christchurch and another depot in Tawa, Wellington, we're responsible for constructing and maintaining overhead and underground lines and equipment across these locations. Providing such a critical service is no easy task, and we know that to be the best, our people need to be connected, safe, and involved.

If you're a registered line mechanic with significant experience in overhead line construction and maintenance and a background in distribution and supply, this is an opportunity that could really pay off for your career.

• Connetics require all successful applicants to complete a pre-employment medical test, which includes a drug and alcohol test and a pre-employment Ministry of Justice check.

• You must be eligible to work in New Zealand, with New Zealand citizenship, New Zealand permanent residency or a valid New Zealand work permit.
