Invercargill born and bred pro wrestler Will Power goes after the SPW New Zealand Championship next Saturday, 7 August.
Power, who trained at the Southern Pro Wrestling school in his home city, will take on ‘The Big Man’ Jamie Tagatae at Southern Pro Wrestling’s biggest event of the year.
The 'Southern Rumble' is being held at the Invercargill Working Men’s Club.
High-flying stunts and family friendly entertainment
Power has been wrestling for 5 years up and down the country and hopes to create an upset in front of his fans, but Auckland's Tagataese is undefeated in SPW.
The huge match is labelled UNDERDOG VS UNDEFEATED, by promoters of the event, which mixes live theatre with breath-taking stunts, entertaining characters and storylines.
Other matches are scheduled including the popular 20 Man Southern Rumble match to determine the new number one contender for the SPW New Zealand Championship.
Tickets are available via eventfinda.co.nz for the family-friendly night.
