There is a fun, new event on the Bluff Calendar this month with a hot dog eating competition scheduled for 4pm on Saturday, 27 November, at the Eagle Hotel.
The competition is the brainchild of Adrian Hopkinson, owner of Let's Be Frank, a mobile food caravan specialising in Bluff Hot Dogs – the Bluff version of American Hot Dogs.
Hopkinson says with a lot of events being cancelled at the moment he wanted to put on an event that is "a bit of fun and puts a smile on the faces of Bluff people".

Contestants, who will be handpicked for the event, will have 10 hot dogs to eat with no condiments permitted.
The winner will be the contestant who devours the 10 dogs in the quickest time. In the unlikely event that no one completes the task, the title will defer to the person who eats the greatest number of hot dogs.
There will be a cash prize plus a t-shirt for the winner while each contestant will receive a bar tab at the Eagle on the day.
