Helicopters grounded as search for missing tramper continues

Photo: NZ Police/SuppliedBad weather has grounded rescue helicopters today (7 May), as the search for a missing tramper on Milford Sound's Mitre Peak continues.
However Police said ground teams were continuing to search from first light.
Search teams are mindful of the tricky terrain and weather warnings, which could potentially hamper search efforts, Police said.
